Manuel Lanzini is likely to make a summer exit on a free transfer in June, earlier this year, he admitted there had been no talks about exercising a two-year option, saying people would need to wait until the summer. It now looks more likely that he will be allowed to leave on 30th June when his current contract expires.
As a free agent, he should be able to demand a higher weekly wage and a signing-on bonus. He is thought to earn £70,000 per week on his current contract and that could see him remaining in Europe if he wants to match or better his current package.
Aston Villa have been reported as one option for the Argetian playmaker although other clubs in Europe could also come in for him as a useful squad player.
The 30-year-old joined originally joined the Hammers on loan from Al Jazira joining permanently in July 2016 for a £10.8m transfer fee.
Lanzini has made 225 appearances for the Hammers scoring 32 goals and making 28 assists over his 8 seasons.
