West Ham Ticket Office is no longer allowing new members to their away ticket scheme, thought to number around 700.
Many have been on a waiting list for many years, but the club ticket office is now letting people know that the away season ticket scheme will slowly be phased out as people either leave or die.
The scheme allows supporters to automatically get an away ticket for league games by having money debited from their bank card during the sales window.
The club’s long-term aim is to only have season ticket holders with priority points, but that will take many years for the away scheme numbers to dwindle.
Supporters earn a priority point for every away game they buy a ticket for, with extra points available for domestic cup games.
Buying a domestic cup game is worth one point but if you sign up for the cup scheme you get double points for each game.
With seven domestic cup games this season at the London Stadium, you could earn 14 points from the cup scheme alone.
