Manchester United have been advised they could challenge Arsenal for Declan Rice by including one of their players in any transfer bid.
Rice is expected to command a fee of up to £120 million this summer, with Manchester United and Arsenal the most likely candidates to seal his signature. However, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Chelsea continue to be named as interested parties. The 23-year-old has made 201 Premier League appearances, with 41 England caps to his name.
One player Manchester United could go through into the mix in an offer for Rice is Scott McTominay, who made 35 appearances this season.
In another report by Claret and Hugh, there is speculation that Manchester City could also be in for the West Ham captain with an opening bid of £70 million plus a player swap of Kalvin Phillips, who joined City for £40 million.
