Confusion over FA Youth Cup final date

There is confusion over the date and time of the FA Youth Cup final between West Ham U18 and Arsenal U18 to be played at the Emirates stadium.

The FA site still says Saturday 29th April is the provisional date but it is subject to change.

Yesterday Arsenal confirmed they have moved their game against Chelsea on that date giving hope that Saturday 29th April is now free but the date is yet to be confirmed.

On Online Arsenal fixtures account now claims it will be moved to Tuesday 25th April at 7pm but this is yet to be officially confirmed.

6foot2 messaged West Ham supporter services to be told “Hi, thanks for your message. The fixture date will be confirmed this lunchtime, please keep an eye out on our channels for updates. Thanks, Lee”

Lunch time came and went and a news article on the subject on WHUFC.com can not be opened with the message ‘access denied’ and ‘Forbidden page’

West Ham supporter services replied sating  “once the details have been confirmed and finalised, we will update the link on whufc.com and post on @WestHamHelp if you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to send us a DM. Thanks, Lee”

At the time of writing at 2.30pm we are still none the wiser. Watch this space for an update

4.30pm UPDATE:  West Ham have since confirmed late this afternoon that the final will be West Ham United will take on Arsenal in the 2023 FA Youth Cup final at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 25 April at 7pm.
