Reports suggest talks have reopened with Vladimir Coufal on a new deal, the right back who turned 31 last month has a contract until June 2025 after the club activated a one-year option last season. He will be almost 33 when his current contract ends so difficult to see him being offered a long-term deal.
The Czech right-back was signed from Slavia Prague for £5.4 million in 2021 initially on a three contract with a one-year option.
His Czech mate 28-year-old Tomas Soucek signed a new four-year contract last month which has yet to be made public or announced by the club which keeps him a Hammer until June 2027.
Soucek joined the club on a permanent deal and signed a four-year contract in 2020, The Czech Republic international midfielder has impressed since arriving at the London Stadium in January on loan from Slavia Prague.
West Ham held an option which allowed them to sign Soucek permanently for a fee of £15m as long as they avoided relegation from the Premier League. That is on top of a £4m loan fee Slavia have already received.
