Declan Rice will remain a West Ham player for the majority of this week.
The West Ham captain flew back from holiday and took the first part of his medical last Friday with the second part on Saturday.
The Hammer is away again and as it stands the transfer will not be competed until this Friday.
Arsenal will need to transfer the first instalment of £33.3m to complete that transaction for West Ham release Rice’s registration.
Rice is then expected to fly out to New York to join his new team mates
Arsenal have confirmed a friendly with Manchester United in New York City as part of this summer’s pre-season tour of the United States.
The Gunners will face Manchester United at the 82,500-capacity MetLife Stadium on Saturday 22nd July.
Mikel Arteta’s squad will start their Stateside preparations in Washington D.C. against an MLS All-Star XI managed by Wayne Rooney. That game takes place at Audi Field on 19 July.
