Alright, my Ansomesssss howwwwsssss uuussseeeee ddooooiiinnngggg

Well, the penultimate awaydays report brings us Leicester away and we usually would all be going into this game with trepidation.
Jamie Vardy will score, a hat-trick and normally relegate us but not today. My friends today was a day to celebrate because West Ham is heading to a European final and we are safe from relegation.

You could really feel it, talking to everybody before we even set off on WhatsApp Twitter and Facebook.

This was going to be a day of fun beers and relaxing, counting down the days until we set off to Prague in about a week’s time now

Setting off as usual, heading up the M5 down the M42, across the M1 and into Leicester with the usual stops, to pick up a bit of beer and a cheeky McDonald’s. Bought us all the way into Leicester in a reasonable time 3 1/4 hours? The journey up as you always know, is always better than the journey back as we are full of hope and cheer.

Once parked up on the back streets, the half a mile walk brought us to the counting house pub, there were about 600 Westham Fans were already congregating with a handy little off-licence directly opposite, Morrisons supermarket, well there is a cost-of-living crisis, so we had to save money where ever we can

The talk was all about who was going to Prague, how they were getting there and how much it had cost them to fly , what the cost of the hotel was going to be, loads of different routes being suggested from cars, trains, planes and automobiles and even the odd boat what Westham Fans will do to watch their beloved dream,
West Ham in the European final

I’ve got to say I was surprised it went down to 24 points, but this also means more of the people who made it to other European games get to go to the final, which is great news.

With the beers all drunk and the songs all sung,we all made our way in unison down towards the ground, which unfortunately took us past a home-supported pub.
With chants of You’re going down you’re going down being sung on the way it got a little bit feisty to say the least, and of course, Westham Fan retaliated

All handbags and push and shove at this time. More to follow later

Into the ground, and this was going to become one of the best atmospheres all season we’ve had some good ones

The game, as you know was a bit non-descript, but the fans were fantastic as always, but went the extra level with songs ranging from
Jamie Vardy. Your wife is a grass
K sera sera
Whatever will be will be
You’re going to Coventry.
k Sara sara
Say hello to Millwall, say hello to me, Wall
And if course
10. More years, Declan Rice was sung at least , three times.

Lanzini bought a standing ovation for coming onto the pitch and Paqueta was roundly and loudly applauded as he walked off the pitch, over by the away, fans and all the way around the pitch applauding the fans as we applauded him

At the end of the game, every single player and every single member of the back from Staff came over and applauded the Westham Fan’s for at least 10 minutes, and then every single one of them, including Declan Rice took off their tops and handed them to fans in the ground

Leicester players seemed to be waiting around for the final whistle at Everton to see if they had stayed up but unfortunately, this was not the case and when the final whistle went at Everton, Leicester players did not even do a lap of dishonour. they just left,

This meant all the Leicester fans and Westham Fans left the ground together, which I don’t think anyone had a plan for thinking that there would be a traditional lap if the pitch by the players and of course, this meant lots of fights breaking out on the way up the road out as obviously, very disappointed Leicester fans didn’t take too kindly to West Ham fans Taunting about the fact that we We’re Going To Prague! and they were going to Coventry with
KSera Sera, whatever will be will be, you’re going to Coventry

Making my way back to the car. It was a little bit worrying to see a brand-new BMW. That had the whole back bumper taken off somehow with no sign of a crash
anyway, the sites you see as you follow West Ham 🍻🍻

The next report will probably be next Thursday and hopefully, I’m discussing lifting a certain trophy in that certain white and orange kit that we all don’t like
but Win, lose or draw and lift that European trophy, we will always still be

Brady out out out
