West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca would be keen on a move to Juventus in the summer transfer window a new report this weekend claims.
Daniele Longo writing for Calciomercato has reported that Scamacca is keen on making sure that he gains some momentum in his career once again and he has now expressed a strong desire to return to Italy to his agents. He has also informed them that he would be keen on joining Juventus this summer.
The Hammers would consider selling their striker if they can fully recover or make a small profit on the money they paid for him last summer.
However, reports suggest Italian clubs are looking for a season-long loan and option to buy, which West Ham would not be keen to do.
David Moyes has indicated he is preparing to remain a West Ham player next season, on Friday “Gianluca Scamacca is still recovering from his knee operation, I don’t think he’s too far away now, but not quite close enough (to come back this season). He had his operation about four weeks ago and he’s still got a few weeks of rehab to do but hopefully he’ll be back ready at the start of pre-season.”
His agents have apparently insisted he is committed to West Ham but club insiders are not so convinced.
A Hammers source has raised some doubts about his future telling Claret and Hugh: “We are told there is no problem by his representatives but one has to wonder!”
