Everton – Your Predictions & Preview

The Hammers are away to Everton for one of our last ever visits to Goodison Park. Both teams could really do with a win, but then is that not always the case? Are we about to go on a run of form, especially with two winnable games coming up?

Our Predictions

ADHammer : 2-1 to West Ham
Doddsy: 1-1 draw.
Nigel: 3-0 to West Ham.

Pundit Predictions

Merson : 2-1 to Everton
Sutton: 1-0 to Everton

Doddy’s Preview

We start our preview off with home and away stalwart Doddsy and his pregame thoughts. If you’re just here to give your predictions, then scroll to the bottom of this post.

Injury & Squad News

Sean Dyche will be waiting to see whether Idrissa Gueye and Amadou Onana pass fitness tests, while Andre Gomez, Deli Ali, Arnaut Danjuma and Lewis Dobbin are set to miss the game.

West Ham:
David Moyes has a full squad to choose from, with Kalvin Phillips available after his one match ban.

Everton: D-D-D-L-D-D.
Everton sit 14th in the current form table. Last time out was a credible draw away at Brighton.

West Ham: D-D-L-L-L-W.
West Ham are 15th in the form table, but will be boosted from Monday’s win against Brentford.

Previous 6 Meetings At Goodison

Sep22 : Everton 1 West Ham 0
Oct21 : Everton 0 West Ham 1
Jan21 : Everton 0 West Ham 1
Sep20 (LC) : Everton 4 West Ham 1
Oct19 : Everton 2 West Ham 0
Sep18 : Everton 1 West Ham 3

Top Flight Record at Everton : Played 64 – Won 13 – Drawn 11 – Lost 40

What Results Do For West Ham

A win for West Ham will take us up to 7th if Brighton fail to beat Fulham away at the same time.
A draw would also see us move above Brighton if they lose to Fulham. However, if Wolves and Newcastle do not draw against each other, the winner will move above us.
A defeat will see us drop to 9th place regardless of other results.
