West Ham have officially confirmed that Nikola Vlašić has joined Torino. He becomes the fourth Hammer to depart after Manuel Lanzini, Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca.
The Croatia international midfielder departs London Stadium after scoring one goal in 31 appearances in Claret and Blue.
Vlašić spent the 2022/23 season on loan with Torino and has returned to the Italian Serie A club on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
In a 73 weird statement on the club website West Han said, “The Club would like to thank the 25-year-old for his efforts and wish him well for his future career.”
The transfer fee is €9m (£7.75m) plus €3m (£2.6m) of add-ons.
The 25-year-old had spent last season with the Granata on loan, contributing five goals and six assists in 34 Serie A appearances.
The two clubs finally managed to strike an agreement at €12m this week, and his contract with Torino will now run to June 2027, with a salary set at €2m (£1.7m) per season or £33,000 per week.
Vlasic cost West Ham €26m back in 2021 and was a David Moyes pick, but things never worked out with the player being told he was not in the managers plans.
