According to Fabrizio Romano and Jacob Steinberg Thilo Kehrer may have played his last game for the Hammer.
The 26-year-old has made 27 appearances for David Moyes’ side this past season in the Premier League and quickly became a first-team regular at the London Stadium.
Last month the Germany Hammer would not rule out a return to the Bundesliga.
“I think about it from time to time. My family lives in Germany. I’m 26 now and I don’t want to rule it out,” Kehrer told Bild’s Stammplatz podcast last month.
“I’m in my first season at West Ham, but you never know what’s going to happen in the future,” he stressed.
Kehrer left Schalke to join Paris Saint-Germain in 2018 for £32m and joined West Ham from PSG for a cut down transfer fee believed to be £10.1m plus add-ons.
The West Ham defender signed a four-year contract with a two-year option last August.
Kehrer lead the singing at the Europa Conference League parade in Stratford showing he had learned all the fans chants and tunes.
