Hammer Michail Antonio was seen limping heavily off the pitch late in the Conference League final on Thursday with a 1-0 win against AZ Alkmaar in The Netherlands
Antonio started on Thursday night, having been completely missing from the matchday squad that suffered a 2-0 loss to Brentford last weekend. West Ham went on to win 1-0 on Thursday in the second leg, with Pablo Fornals scoring.
But Antonio was withdrawn on 84 minutes with the score still reading 0-0, limping heavily as he walked slowly off the pitch. He was replaced by Danny Ings.
Antonio suffered from a dead leg after the first leg at the London Stadium of the semi-final but recovered in time for the second leg in Holland.
David Moyes could well rest Antonio this weekend to save him for the Europa Conference League final in Prague on 7th June.
That could mean Danny Ings getting two starts against Leeds United and Leicester City with Antonio perhaps on the bench for a cameo appearance or two.
