US-based publication Forbes has valued West Ham United at over one billion US dollars for the first time
The valuation of $1.08bn equates to £870m, a rise of 20% on their valuation from last year.
The Hammers are ranked 15th worldwide in the top 30 in the most valuable football clubs.
Top of the table comes Real Madrid at $6.07bn, with Manchester United just behind in second at $6bn
Liverpool is fourth with a valuation of $52.9bn, next Premier League club is Manchester City in fifth at $4.99bn followed by Chelsea at eighth at $3.1bn
Spurs are ninth at $2.9bn, and Arsenal is tenth at $2.26bn.
West Ham are the most valuable Premier League outside the traditional top six breaking through the billion-dollar mark this week when the table was published on Wednesday. Inter Milan are just behind the Hammers in 16th place with a valuation of $1.03bn
Interestingly US MLS club LAFC is also valued at $1bn with Crystal Palace ranked 20th at $806m.
