Hammer Nikola Vlasic future remains uncertain with a final decision yet to be agreed.
Serie A club Torino has a €13m (£11.2m) option to buy the player at the end of the season and not the €15m (£13m) or £15m often quoted in Italian reports.
West Ham is currently subsiding his wages to the tune of fifteen percent worth around £42,000 per month
SportItalia have quoted the player’s agent Tonci Martic as saying “Nikola is happy at Torino. I hope he grows together with Torino. Coach Juric is very important for his career.
“The future now, that’s all to be determined, as he should be back at base next month. It is difficult to say whether he will remain or not. It depends on the two clubs: everything is still open.”
The midfielder moved to West Ham from CSKA Moscow in August 2021 for 25 million euros (£21.6m) and not the £27m widely reported
West Ham are thought to have withheld further instalments to CSKA Moscow due to Ukraine conflict.
Last summer Vlasic joined Serie A club, Torino, on a season-long loan, they agreed to pay 85% of his reported £70,000 per week wages with the option to buy at 13m Euros.
In West Ham accounts the club said “Creditors arising from player transfers include a total of £7.8m payable to Russian football clubs. The club is currently prevented from making these payments due to the sanctions imposed by the UK Government”
The Hammers are claimed to also owe €5m (£4.38m) to Spartak for the loan of the Czech Republic midfielder/
