West Ham have reportedly sent scouts to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina who have been impressed by the performances of Brazil’s Marcos Leonardo

The Brazilian has netted three goals in two games at the U20 World Cup, which is currently taking place in Argentina. According to the www.fichajes.net, the  Hammers have sent scouts to the tournament who have been left particularly impressed by Leonardo.

The forward has reportedly also caught the attention of Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Manchester United, with the Hammers having previously made an offer for the player in January and are anticipated to make another one this summer.

Leonardo, who is compared to Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero in terms of playing style has netted 41 goals in 140 appearances for Santos, but is under contract with the Brazilian outfit until 2026.

Premier League sides are not the only ones keeping an eye on Leonardo. PSG, Juventus, and AS Roma also have him on their radar.
