West Ham has made bids to Manchester United for Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay thought to be worth £60m (£30m per player). It is claimed to be the final offer, take it or leave it.
It is understood Manchester United would be open to a deal, but both England defender Maguire, 30, and Scotland midfielder McTominay, 26, are part of Erik ten Hag’s squad, and the club know they would need replacements for either if they were sold
According to Manchester Evening News: Manchester United have rejected a £ 30 million bid for Scott McTominay from West Ham. West Ham also submitted an unsuccessful bid of £30m for Harry Maguire, but the offers for each player were separate and not a joint bid.
It is doubted whether West Ham will make a renewed bid for McTominay, but they are understood to be considering an improved offer for Maguire says thee Manchester newspaper.
Manchester United did not provisionally plan to sell McTominay, but have identified Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as an attainable replacement to come in.
