6foot2 can confirm that West Ham are exploring the possibility of a fan zone for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park close to the London Stadium if the Hammers get through to the Europa Conference League final in Prague.
The Hammers will be limited to an allocation of just 5,000 for the final with a public ballot open to the general public of another 13,000.
The news of a potential fan zone was first broken by the Daily Mail suggesting that the old Olympic warm up track could be used with large screens erected.
Sources close to the club have confirmed to 6foot2 that story is true but the talks are only at exploratory stages at this point.
The London Marathon Community Track close to the Club shop is one option but has only 300 seats so temporary stands would need to erected.
The club have previously hosted family fun days and fan zones on the community Pitch next to the stadium so it could be the ideal venue.
If it goes ahead numbers are likely to restricted for security purposes but it could create another focal point for West Ham supporters to watch the final together.
