The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has responded to a freedom of information request by 6foot2 about their contact with West Ham shareholder Daniel Kretinksy.
A KUMB report in February claimed LLDDC CEO Lyn Garner was having one-to-one chats with Daniel Kretinsky over ownership of the London Stadium.
Responding to the FOI, LLDC says Lyn Garner and Daniel Kretinsky have not been in contact in person, virtually or via email/letter.
They do, however, admit that LLDC chairman Lord Hendy met with Daniel Kretinsky by way of introduction shortly after he purchased his 27% shareholding in West Ham United on 15 February 2022.
In addition, they admit that Lord Hendy and Lyn Garner met with Peter Mitka on 27 May 2022 to introduce him to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Mitka is head of mergers and acquisitions at Kretinsky’s Czech energy company group EPH,
Mitka is also a director of West Ham United Football Club Limited, a position he has held since 21st November 2021.
LLDC say no records of these meetings with Kretinsky and Mitka in February and May 2022 exist, and suggest there has been no contact since then.
