David Moyes has rubbished claims he has already agreed to his exit this summer before next season begins.
Starting with Alex Crook at TalkSport, a host of reports in the media last week suggested a decision had already been made, and the West Ham manager would leave by mutual consent over the summer.
Addressing the rumours on Thursday night, post-match, Moyes firmly told reporters:
“I’m planning for next season. I’ve got no intention of leaving. I’m getting on with my job, doing everything that I do and obviously, my head’s down and focused on how I’m getting myself more points at the moment; that’s the only thing I can think about.”
West Ham’s board insist they have made no early decisions, and they will review the manager and the season over the summer as they always do.
If West Ham wins the Europa Conference League and avoids relegation, David Moyes is likely to be given a chance to see out the final year of his contract next season.
