Real Reason for Rice Sale?

West Ham fans are awaiting the inevitable, that first formal bid for their prized asset Declan Rice

Many thought that an Arsenal bid would come in on the first day of the transfer window but this has yet to materialise.

It looks like Arsenal are playing the waiting game to see whether any other clubs are going to show their interest.

Arsenal seem to believe that if there are no bids from other parties, they will be in the driving seat to make a low bid for the England midfielder.

But, it is reported that West Ham are going to hold their nerve and demand a fee that matches their valuation and if that doesn’t materialise then Rice won’t be leaving.

However, there could be other factors involved in making sure that the potential sale happens this summer and they may have a lot to do with the recent (and further imminent) changes to Agent rules implemented by FIFA, as reported by www.transferroom.com in this link: https://blog.transferroom.com/top-10-things-to-know-about-new-agent-rules?s=09

The two key points to note are numbers 6 and 8 which are explained here in this latest West Ham Voice video:

So, when Declan Rice states that he has no involvement in what happens with transfer business and that it’s out of his hands, does it have more to do with what the Agents want than anything else?

Read the article, watch the video, then you decide.
