Manchester City are on the verge of making an opening bid today or tomorrow 6foot2 understand.
Reports suggest that City will bid £75m plus £15m of realistic add-ons over two years instead of the four proposed by Arsenal, another suggest £60m plus Kalvin Phillips is another scenario.
Arsenal initially bid £60m plus £15m of unrealistic extras over six years but were immediately rejected, a second bid offered £75m pls £15m of add-ons over four years which was also turned down.
Meanwhile both Chelsea and Manchester United are yet to show their hands but rumoured to be weighing up their own offers to spice things up.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal are preparing a third bid for Declan Rice which would total £100m, that is likely to consist of £85m plus £15m of add-ons over four years.
West Ham insist they are in no hurry to sell and want the best possible deal for the club to re-invest.
