Rumours that Gianluca Scamacca stormed out of the London Stadium before the match on Sunday against Southampton have been described as ‘Absolute rubbish’ by club insiders.
Sky Sports footage of the striker captured him leaving the stadium before kick off but a club insider explained ‘He was in for treatment this morning and left the ground to go home after his treatment was finished’
David Moyes on Friday revealed the Italian striker was suffering from a sore knee so maybe he travelled the short distance from his home to the stadium to medical staff who were at the London Stadium for the game. Why he didn’t stay to support his teammates is less certain but he is under no contractual obligation to do so.
Yesterday it was revealed that Gianluca Scamacca has signed with CAA Stellar agency as new representatives to plan for his future. The photo above shows Scamacca with agents Jonathan Barnett and David Lee.
