Gianluca Scamacca’s agent wants to sit down with the club, including manager David Moyes on their return from Australia.
Scamacca changed agents to CAA Stellar, and there is concern they want a move this summer for their client.
Scamacca explained he was playing most of last season with an injury, telling a reporter ‘Perhaps people don’t know it, but I played all season with a broken meniscus, at some point, it was impossible to continue, and I underwent surgery” adding “I will reach peak fitness by the start of the season. If I am fit and I am convinced I will be, I will score 20 goals.”
Despite his words about West Ham, the agent world believes the player wants out this summer with a return to Italy.
West Ham have yet to receive any permanent offers for West Ham and have only received loan inquiries which they immediately rejected.
The Hammers would need to get their money back to even consider letting their striker go, and that means bigs over £30m only, which seems unlikely as it stands.
He’s clearly a decent player and will 100% score goals for us if he’s given a run of games.
