Still Backing The Manager

After yesterday’s defeat, pressure on David Moyes is continuing to pile on from the fanbase, but it seems that he still has the green light, for now, to carry on from those that run the club, Senior sources at the club have come out defending the beleaguered manager and backing him.

If DM was unemployed and we were looking for a manager, then he would be the exact person we would bring in.

Furthermore, Guardian Journalist Jacob Steinburg, who seems to have the ear of sources in the club, has tweeted today.

“David Moyes still has the support of the board. Last Nights defeat to Brentford leaves West Ham firmly in the relegation battle, but there are no plans to make a managerial change at the moment.”

It is possible the club is looking at who may come in if needed. Still, they are keeping tight-lipped on that situation and anyone they may be looking at preferring to say, “there are no obvious candidates out there at the moment.

How many games Moyes has left is unknown and open to speculation, but in the past, one source at the club did state no manager can survive six straight defeats, and failure to get any point away to Leeds on Wednesday night will make that the sixth defeat in a row in the league.

  1. Would a loss on Wednesday speed up the removal of Moyes and introduce a new manager with nearly 50% of games left to turn us around or would board still stutter?

    • It would not speed it up
But it would make his next games last chance saloon
