West Ham’s Europa Conference League quarter final home game against GAA Gent has failed to grab the imagination of Hammers fans so far and it looks like the London Stadium is set for another largely reduced capacity crowd later this month. Thirty thousand tickets remain unsold on the online ticketing site with adult tickets starting at £15 on the night or £5 for under 18’s.
The tickets are now on general sale as we face the Belgian cup winners under the London Stadium lights on Thursday 20 April
The pricing strategy has failed to ignite any proper interest and number if games in April could be another factor to keep fans away.
West Ham published an official attendance of 40,482 fans against Larnaca at the London Stadium last month but the true attendance was much lower with many stranded another train strike.
The quarter final is likely to similar attendance but maybe as high as 45,000 way short of the maximum 62,500 capacity at the London Stadium.
